If you’ve ever had pain that lingers, comes back, or just won’t shift no matter what you try, this is where treatment needs to change.

This is electroacupuncture.

Same acupuncture principles, but with a gentle electrical pulse added to create a stronger, more consistent stimulation.

Why?

Because stubborn pain often needs more than a light signal.

This helps:
• Target deeper muscle tension
• Improve circulation to the area
• Encourage your body’s natural pain-relieving response

It might look intense… but most people feel a controlled pulsing or tingling, not pain.
Because not all pain responds the same way… and your treatment shouldn’t either.

Let’s figure out what your pain actually needs 🧡

New to acupuncture?

You might notice the needle being gently moved or “jiggled” slightly once it’s placed. This isn’t random, it’s part of finding the precise acupuncture point and activating it correctly. Precision matters.
Acupuncture needles are extremely fine, and each point on the body is chosen carefully to support balance, circulation, and the body’s natural healing response.

Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference. ✨

Facial acupuncture supports both the skin and the stress response.

Very fine needles are placed in specific points on the face and body to increase circulation and stimulate natural collagen production.

At the same time, these points help regulate the nervous system, which can reduce facial tension, jaw tightness and the physical effects of stress.

Healthy skin isn’t just surface level.
It’s connected to how your body is functioning overall.

If you’d like to learn whether it’s suitable for you, we’re here to guide you.

Headaches don’t always start in the head.

They often begin with tension building at the base of the skull.

This point, GB20 (Feng Chi) is one of the most effective acupressure points we use for headache and migraine relief. When the muscles here tighten, they can restrict circulation and create that heavy, throbbing pressure feeling.
Apply firm pressure on both sides for 30–60 seconds while taking slow breaths.

You might feel tenderness, that’s normal.
That’s usually the tension releasing.

Save this for the next time a headache starts 🧡

This is PC7 (Da Ling) commonly used acupressure point in Chinese medicine, located on the inner wrist between the two tendons.

Using your thumb, apply gentle but firm pressure for 60–90 seconds, breathing slowly as you hold the point.

Repeat on the other wrist.

This point is often used to support relaxation, ease tension, and help the body settle especially during moments of stress or mental overload.

It’s a simple, grounding practice you can do anywhere, anytime, without any tools.

Small moments like this, done consistently, can help bring the body back into balance.

Try this the next time your body feels tense. 😌

That story is more common than people realise.

Sport injuries often heal on the surface, but the body adapts to keep you moving. Over time, that adaptation can mean certain areas work harder, hold more tension, or compensate without you noticing.
Years later, the injury isn’t painful anymore,
but the stiffness, tightness or recurring discomfort remains.

We don’t just treat where it hurts now.
We look at the full pattern the body has developed over time, and work to restore balance and movement through the whole system.

If this sounds familiar, you don’t have to keep putting up with it. Book a consultation and let’s assess your movement, your history and what your body actually needs. 🧡

Knee discomfort or stiffness?

In Chinese medicine, certain hand acupressure points are commonly used to support knee comfort, movement, and circulation.

This point involves applying a gentle squeeze with firm, comfortable pressure to both sides of the middle finger, holding for 30–60 seconds, then repeating on the other middle finger.

Acupressure may help stimulate circulation and ease tension, but responses vary between individuals. Ongoing or recurring knee pain should always be assessed individually, as treatment works best when the underlying cause is addressed.

Save this as a general self-care tip 🤍

You may be wondering what this reel is all about…

It’s a little behind the scenes glimpse into what ongoing training really looks like. After 17 years in this field, growth is still a priority for me. I’ve just wrapped up a 4-day intensive advanced needling course, and I’m excited to bring these new skills and knowledge into the
Clinic.

Remedial massage does more than ease tension, it helps your body function at its best. 🌿

Here are a few benefits you might not know about:

• Improves sleep quality by promoting deeper relaxation

• Enhances circulation for better energy and recovery

• Reduces built-up muscle tension you didn’t even realise was there

• Supports your body’s natural detox process by improving lymphatic flow

• Helps correct posture by releasing tight stabilising muscles

• Encourages a calmer mind and reduced stress levels

Whether you’re dealing with aches, stress, or just need a moment to reset, this treatment works deeper than you think.

At Eastern Vitality, we often use a special acupuncture point called Yintang, found right between the eyebrows.

This point is traditionally used to calm the nervous system, ease headaches, and promote better sleep. Many clients describe it as instantly grounding, helping the mind feel clearer and the body more relaxed.

It’s also helpful for sinus congestion, eye strain, and that “busy brain” feeling many of us carry.

Acupuncture works holistically, so even a single point like this can have wide-ranging effects on both mind and body.

Feeling under the weather? 🤧

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are two acupressure points believed to help your body fight back against cold symptoms:

1️⃣ Hegu (LI-4) – found between your thumb and index finger.
👉 Apply gentle, clockwise pressure 60 times.

2️⃣ Large Intestine 11 (LI-11) – at the crease of your elbow.
👉 Massage clockwise 60 times.

Do this on both sides of your body. While it won’t cure a cold overnight, many people use these points to ease headaches, reduce fever, and support recovery.

💡 Try it next time you feel a cold coming on, sometimes the simplest remedies make the biggest difference.

Next time you feel a sniffle coming on, give this a try and see how you feel.
