π I want to share an inspirational story from Nadine Stair with you today:
β When asked βHow would you have lived your life differently if you had a chance?β Nadine Stair, an 85-year-old woman, from Louisville, Kentucky, provided these poetic words as her responseβ¦
π If I had my life to live over again,
βοΈ Iβd dare to make more mistakes next time.
βοΈ Iβd have more of them.
βοΈ Iβd relax.
βοΈ Iβd limber up.
βοΈ Iβd be sillier than Iβve been this trip.
βοΈ I would take fewer things seriously.
βοΈ I would take more chances
π₯ I would, perhaps, have more actual troubles but fewer imaginary ones. You see, Iβm one of those people who was sensible and sane, hour after hour, day after day.
β½β½ Oh, Iβve had my moments.
βοΈ Iβd have more of them.
βοΈ In fact, Iβd try to have nothing else- just moments, one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
β½β½ Iβve been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat, and a parachute.
π₯ If I could do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.
πββοΈ If I had to live my life over,
βοΈ I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.
βοΈ I would go to more dances,
βοΈ I would ride more merry-go-rounds,
βοΈ I would pick more daisies.
π₯ I would love to hear your story today.
