Meet Rory Warnock, our Head of Wellness, embodying his quote:
'Our mouth is designed to speak and eat, our nose is designed to breathe and smell. It’s incredibly important that we use them for their proper functions’
A staunch advocate for nasal breathing, Rory just completed a half marathon with his mouth taped shut!
Why nasal breathing? It's a vital practice to enhance overall wellness. When we breathe through our noses, we increase our oxygen uptake, aiding brain function and cardiovascular health. It's a natural air filter, warming and humidifying the air we breathe while boosting immune function. Lastly, it aids in stress management by activating our parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system.
Let's embrace the power of breath, and strive for neurological health together.
