The sad reality is that things are very difficult in the world right now. More than ever, we need solace from the constant avalanche of disturbing news, the noise they create, and the anxiety that ensue.

This is why getting on the mat, moving our body, feeling ourselves breathing, and connecting to the present moment through yoga, help us to face our inner and outer realities with more equanimity, perspective, and calm.
