Today Lesleigh, Maree and I today launched our very first fund raising/awareness raising event for a shared dream. We are working towards establishing a charitable foundation to fund, develop and open Hobarts FIRST community hospice!!
Thank you Lesleigh for being the knowledgeable one and leading our participation in this pre loved market!

Exciting News for Nurse Practitioners and Patients!

As of 1 November 2024, Collaborative Arrangements will no longer be required for Medicare and PBS entitlements.

This is a significant step forward for Nurse Practitioners and patients alike. It will reduce administrative burdens for NPs and improve patient access to affordable healthcare.

Key points to remember:

➡️ No change to clinical practice, prescribing rights, or collaborative patient care.
➡️ Pelvic ultrasounds will be added to the diagnostic tests NPs can request under the MBS.
