Dropped into the blue and remembered once again ~ we’re just visitors here.

Two bottom dives with 30+ Bull Sharks.

Two Giant Groupers & two Tawny Nurse.

Apex predators.
Within arm’s reach.
Getting sniffed out and side-eyed by these ladies was insaaaaane 🤯

Graceful. Powerful. And at times uncomfortably curious 🫣

One of the most beautiful encounters of my little life 🤿🫧

And holy smokes, are something else 🌊 🥷🏼
Safety was the priority. They ran a tight & professional ship with smooth ex*****on. The whole team are clearly passionate about protecting the ocean & these misunderstood queens of the deep 👑

Some truths about these powerful ocean dwellers ~

🦈 They’re incredibly adaptable.
Bull sharks can thrive in both salt and freshwater, making them one of the most versatile sharks on the planet.

🦈 They’re vital to marine ecosystems.
As apex predators, they keep ocean life in balance by managing fish populations and supporting biodiversity.

🦈 They’re not mindless killers.
Bull sharks are intelligent and curious. Often encounters are exploratory ~ not aggressive. They’re checking us out, like we do them.

🦈 They have a sixth sense.
Bull sharks possess electroreception, allowing them to detect tiny electrical impulses from other animals ~ including us, hence such curiosity.
