Respect for the Aged Day is a national holiday held in Japan. It is a celebration of longevity and an expression of regard for the many years of contributions to society made by senior citizens. We acknowledged today with some art. Residents were very creative with their cherry blossom 🌸 trees 🇯🇵 👵 👴 Our Japanese resident Yuko was happy to spend time outdoors showing her creative side. Well done everyone. 🥰

BUBSIE- More than a vintage car, it’s a symbol of determination, innovation and pioneering spirit. In 1925 two young Australians left Bickley bound for Darwin, selling books and collecting donations as they went. By the years end Neville Westwood and his little car BUBSIE had made history, setting the record for the first journey right around Australia by car.
Seabrae was thankful for the opportunity to engage with a replica of BUBSIE. Residents were engaged and enjoyed the morning 🚙 ❤️
