📣The Bone Bus is Coming to Luddenham– 22nd of September, 2025 📣

The Bone Bus is a mobile bone density service offering bulk billed osteoporosis screening for eligible patients. Their team uses advanced DEXA technology to detect low bone density and help reduce the risk of fractures through early intervention.

To access this service, you will need a referral from your GP. Once you have your referral, you will need to book your appointment directly through the Bone Bus website or by calling their team.

Bone density scans are bulk-billed for patients aged 70+ with a valid pensioner concession card. Those 70+ without the card, or under 70 with certain medical conditions (e.g., fracture, early menopause, chronic liver/renal disease, rheumatoid arthritis), will pay a $28.45 gap.

📣 Welcome Dr Nooshin to Northwest Health Medical Centre, LUDDENHAM! 📣

Dr. Nooshin graduated as a Medical Doctor in 2013 and has been working as a general practitioner since. In 2020, she achieved her General Medicine Specialist degree from Isfahan University Of Medical Science, Iran. She was awarded a place among the top 10% of the general medicine specialists in Iran after successfully passing the Iranian Internal Board Exam (IIBE).

Her expertise spans internal medicine, infectious diseases, managing chronic conditions, and women's health. She is interested in advancing her skills in the fields of aesthetics and skin cancer.

The Bone Bus is coming to Northwest Health Medical Centre on Monday the 30th of September, 2024!

Bone density scans screen for osteoporosis, a major cause of fractures and poor health outcomes for Australians.

The Bone Bus offers quick and simple bone density scans, and the scan is bulk-billed for people aged over 70.

If you're at risk, we recommend that you take the test:

Over 70 years of age?
Had a fracture from a minor bump or fall since turning 50?
Have unexplained back pain?
Have a family history of fractures?

To book your scan, follow these two steps:
1. Make an appointment with your doctor to get a referral for the scan.
2. Contact The Bone Bus to reserve an appointment time for your scan.
