Thank you to all that came to do the Anzac Day workout this morning ✨

Lest we forget! 🤍

This workout is to be done as an individual effort and completed for time.

The significance behind each movement is as follows.

• 1915 metre - Represents the ANZAC’s going ashore on 25 April 1915.

• 4 Rounds - Represents the month of April.

• 25 GTO - On the 25th of April 1915, Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula.

• 60 Walking lunges - Represents the number of Aussie’s who died [60,000 +] in WW1.

• 24 SDB Devils press - During the Gallipoli campaign, the Anzac and Turkish soldiers called a truce for eight hours to bury their dead on May 24th 1915.

• 1918m SDB Carry - Represents carrying the ammunition to the front line at ANZAC Cove and the year WW1 ended. If you put the bell down 28 burpees for the date the war ended.

For Time:

• 1915 metre effort [running = 6 laps + cafe and back]

Then...

4 Rounds of:

• 25 GTO 50kg [35kg]

• 60 Walking lunges

• 24 SDB Devils press 22.5kg [ 15kg]

Then...

• 1918 metre Carry DB 22.5kg [15kg] - carry as you see fit, low carry, shoulder [6 laps + cafe and back]
* If you put the bell down 28 burpees for the date the war ended.

2026 Workout #24 - “Our Heroes”

In Honour of: All Heroes, Past and Present

24 Hours of Heroes began in 2021 with a simple goal, bring a community together at Nepean CrossFit to support something bigger than ourselves.

What started as one gym, one event, and one cause… has grown into a movement.

Fast forward to 2026:
Over $1,500,000 raised — represented in the 1,501m row
5,360 participants who have shown up, stepped in, and stood together
And this year, 43 host gyms across Australia, reflected in the 43m gear carry

Every number in this workout tells a story.
The deadlifts represent the weight carried by those who serve.
The gear carry reminds us that no one does it alone, we move forward together.

The synchro burpees reflect unity, teamwork, and shared effort.
And the final 2,026m row represents this year and the continued momentum of what this community is building.
This isn’t just a workout.

It’s a reflection of six years of impact.
Of lives changed.
Of a community that continues to show up for veterans, first responders, and their families.

We honour all heroes, past and present.

And we keep moving forward… together.

At just 17 years old, this young man has officially qualified for the CrossFit Semifinals and we couldn’t be more proud! 🎉🔥

The maturity, the grit, the consistency Pat brings every single session is something special. This isn’t luck, this is the result of hard work, sacrifice, and a mindset well beyond his years. 💪🏽

The energy, effort and smiles from every single one of you made it such a fun and rewarding day. We loved having you all in the gym and watching you get involved, challenge yourselves and have a blast 💥

We hope you enjoyed it just as much as we did!
