Congratulations to our Massage Therapist for a podium finish at Tuesday Nights Heffron cycling.

For those not in the Sydney cycling scene, this race is arguably the toughest criterium race in Australia and getting on the podium is quite the achievement.

You’ll learn amongst an experienced Physio team and Allied Health & Medical professionals like Sports Physicians, Orthopaedic Specialists, Endocrinologists, Sports Podiatrists, Women’s Health Physios & more.

Mentoring & ongoing training is provided, but some experience in Clinical Pilates or Sports team coverage is beneficial.

1-2 years experience is desired but we also welcome new graduates to apply.

A warm welcome to our new Massage Therapist Pat Coleman who starts with us next week.

Pat is a highly skilled massage therapist with a genuinely caring approach to ensure each individual client’s areas of concern are addressed.

Pat is a strong advocate for the role that remedial massage can play in helping to alleviate joint pain, injury trauma, muscle tension and stress as well as improving mobility and reducing recovery time.

Pat is a competitive master’s cyclist as well as a sometimes runner and triathlete and enjoys working with athletes of all levels to aid their recovery so that their next training session or race can be as best as possible.

For those who recognise the face, Pat was a long time member of Concord Tri Club and engaged with BSM a lot during his time at the tri club.

Congratulations to Principal Physio James Sutherland who brings up his & the businesses 23rd year anniversary at BSM today.

From small beginnings on the corner of Montague & Llewellyn sts Balmain in 2002, to the move to Victoria Rd Rozelle in 2008, rebranding from Balmain Sports Physiotherapy to Balmain Sports Medicine & the recent move to ‘Hotel Rozelle’ in 2018, BSM has become one of the biggest & best sports medicine practices in Australia.

We all know small business can be hard & has its ongoing challenges, so to keep building & improving in 23 years is testament to James’s hard work & dedication.

So well done James & BSM on this fantastic achievement!

Friday afternoon saw the staff head to Randwick Races for our staff Xmas party for an afternoon of food, fun & frivolity. And a couple of winners on the track.
