Squats are number one exercise for aging!
What are the benefits of performing squats with ball between thighs?
1. Improves technique
2. Fires up your core
3. Joint-friendly for knees & hips
4. Inner thighs work more
Squats are great for strengthening legs, hips, core, & muscles around the knees.
Plus squats indirectly strengthen our bones (reduce Osteo).
🌟Important tips:
Beginner can use a wall for back support.
Use good breathing technique (slow, even breaths).
Engage your core.
Bend at hips first (imagine you are sitting back on a chair).
Press feet evenly & avoid lifting heels off floor.
🌟Variations:
Can hold hand weights for more resistance.
Hold longer (20s-2+min).
Can use a yoga block between thighs.
