So we are staying in a hotel in Kerala that has 5 small separate apartments with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and balcony.

We met our Russian neighbour a couple of days ago and struck up a conversation with her telling us she was here to do some yoga. I asked had she found a good teacher. She replied she was travelling with her teacher. I asked where they were doing yoga and she said on the roof top apartment balcony. Next question was what type of yoga were they doing. Then came the gold - “Iyengar”

Really, what is the chances that all 5 apartments currently house Iyengar yogis???

We have since done a class with them on the rooftop and they invited me to teach them a class this morning.

Lovely ladies. Iyengar yoga bonding of the Australian and Russian contingents right here in India. A very unexpected bonus and surprise.
