Thrive in Three — Final Day 🧘‍♀️✨💫

Today marks the final day of our Thrive in Three challenge.

We don’t offer challenges very often, as I like to keep our approach simple and consistent. But the response to this one has been incredible. I feel genuinely proud of everyone — whether you completed all three weeks, joined when you could, or simply set the intention to practice more regularly.

The conversations between members, the messages of encouragement, and the feedback about how this experience has supported you physically, mentally, and spiritually have been so heartening. The energy in the studio has felt uplifted and connected — it’s been beautiful to witness.

I’m deeply inspired by our community, and by our teachers who participated alongside you.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m looking forward to seeing you all in the studio again next week as we continue to grow and thrive together.

Yoga is radical self-acceptance.

It is radical, in a world that constantly tells you that you are not quite enough.

It’s the practice of meeting yourself — exactly as you are — every time you step onto the mat. The idea that this version of you is perfect.

It means acknowledging everything, without judgment:
the tightness in your hips,
the unsteadiness in a balance,
the wandering mind.

Yoga isn’t about forcing your body into a shape it isn’t ready for.
It’s about moving with intelligence and compassion, from where you are right now.

Just honest work, from an honest starting point.
Because the moment we shift from resistance to acceptance — that’s where the real practice begins ✨

Our Kids Yoga program offers mindful movement, breathwork and meditation, all explored through the lens of play, creativity and practical learning.

Each session weaves in themes of kindness, compassion, empathy and respect, encouraging children to connect with themselves and others in a meaningful way.

Classes are light, fun and welcoming to all! 🌈

Katie discovered yoga in her late teens and embraced its principles throughout her 20s, seeking inner peace during a transformative time in her life.

This journey of self-discovery led Katie to complete her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) from 2020-2023.

Katie has a particular love for Yoga Nidra, meditation, and mantra—cherishing the way sound can bring people together. In her classes, Katie encourages openness and curiosity, creating a space where students can connect with their voices and explore their own path to mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.

“I believe yoga should be joyful and accessible to everyone.
In my Friday classes, I bring practice “off the mat,” incorporating the use of a chair to blend authentic sequences with a light-hearted approach that fosters self-love. Whether you join me for Hatha, Chair, or Flow, my intention is always to help you feel supported and deeply connected to your body”

Thursday Memory Cafe 🫶🏻
Every second Thursday, I make my way over to lovely Chiltern to teach Chair Yoga to an incredible group of yogis.
Chiltern, Rutherglen & surrounds locals who have Dementia & their wonderful carers are the attendees at this session.
We move, breathe, meditate & laugh (mostly at my terrible jokes) as we move through a Chair Yoga session.
On the drive back to Rutherglen each time, I always feel humbled by their dedication, willingness & enthusiasm to learn, be challenged & try something new. Some of these attendees are well into the more mature decades of their lives - 80’s & 90’s
How lucky am I to be in the company of these wise souls? Who have seen & experienced so much more than I have & who have so much to offer to our community.
So much so that I can’t help but think that it is indeed, I ,that is so privileged to learn each session from these knowledgeable, intelligent & cheeky characters.
