Meet Jules – Yoga Teacher, Remedial Massage Therapist & All round awesome human!

Jules runs Wholly Jules in Rutherglen and brings a wealth of experience and warmth to her teaching and practice. Her first introduction to yoga was at just 15 years old, guided by her mum. Since then, her personal practice has grown through classes, expos, study, and reading, shaping a lifelong love of movement and wellbeing.

Her travels and curiosity led her to study Thai Massage in Thailand and Ayurveda in India, before completing her Yoga Teacher Training in 2016. Jules has continued to expand her knowledge with ongoing training including:

Honor Yoga Roots (2020)

Children’s Yoga Teaching – Zenergy (2021)

Diploma of Counselling (2022)

Yin Yoga – Insight Yoga (2023)

When she’s not teaching yoga or supporting clients through massage, you’ll often find Jules in her garden, learning new skills (like social dancing or skiing!), or away in the caravan with friends. She also loves visiting her grandchildren in Queensland and cheering from the sidelines at dance competitions.

Jules’ approach is grounded, nurturing, and always evolving – reflecting her love of lifelong learning and her genuine care for people.

A truly beautiful offering designed to guide and support you through every stage of your pregnancy.

Led by Genevieve – fully accredited and experienced in prenatal yoga – this program provides a gentle and nurturing practice to help you maintain strength, flexibility, and mobility as your body continually changes.

Beyond the physical, our sessions offer practices and tools to ease the many thoughts, fears, and unknowns that can arise during pregnancy. Each week evolves with you, offering both mindful movement and moments of grounding stillness.

Here at Harvest, we offer thoughtful, intuitive, and varied movement to cultivate a strong practice—physically, absolutely, but also psychologically. We believe looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body.

Founder Genevieve draws on a strong background in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics through her degree in Exercise Science. This brings a deep understanding and passion for movement, and an appreciation for the profound connection between body and mind.

Katie and Jules each bring their own unique life experience, teaching style, and perspective to the mat. Gentle yet grounded in their approach, they share a deep understanding of the body’s intricacies through their work as both massage therapists and yoga teachers.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing you to our incredible teachers here at Harvest—sharing the uniqueness they bring to their teaching and a little about who they are beyond the mat.

Peaceful Practice with Katie.

Restorative yoga & massage:

A slow practice involving poses that are supported by blocks bolsters and blankets.

Each pose is guided by Katie who will provide massage techniques designed to support you in each pose.

This practice will allow you to find grounding and encourage letting go of physical tension particularly in the body and fascia.

Geared towards relaxation, healing & stress relief, guiding you gently to a state of peacefulness.

Due to the dedication & attention to each individual as well as the special offering of this practice, spots are limited.to 6 per session

KIDS YOGA!

Term 3 starts tomorrow Monday 28 July
Ages 4-9 Mondays 4-4.45 pm
Ages 10+ Tuesdays 4-5 pm

We combine mindful movement, stillness, meditation, learning through play & lots of creativity to deliver a fun & welcoming kids program each week.

Kids learn about the human body, tools to find calm & steadiness & how to safely move through yoga poses.

Thursday Memory Cafe 🫶🏻
Every second Thursday, I make my way over to lovely Chiltern to teach Chair Yoga to an incredible group of yogis.
Chiltern, Rutherglen & surrounds locals who have Dementia & their wonderful carers are the attendees at this session.
We move, breathe, meditate & laugh (mostly at my terrible jokes) as we move through a Chair Yoga session.
On the drive back to Rutherglen each time, I always feel humbled by their dedication, willingness & enthusiasm to learn, be challenged & try something new. Some of these attendees are well into the more mature decades of their lives - 80’s & 90’s
How lucky am I to be in the company of these wise souls? Who have seen & experienced so much more than I have & who have so much to offer to our community.
So much so that I can’t help but think that it is indeed, I ,that is so privileged to learn each session from these knowledgeable, intelligent & cheeky characters.

Mama to be, Nina, here just radiating pregnancy in full bloom.
38 weeks & still practicing our Pre Natal Yoga ❤️
Our pregnancy classes take you from week 13 (or earlier if you have a regular yoga practice in place) right through to the birth of your Bebe!
In fact, I encourage you to continue yoga as long as it still feels good in your pregnancy.
In our pre natal program, we move physically with a different sequence each week, supporting the physical evolution of your body as your baby grows.

We place a huge amount of importance on the emotional & mental changes through pregnancy too through meditation & breath work.

Being within a friendly & supportive community through these changes can be immensely beneficial & the open & honest chats that take place each week are pretty good too 😆

In our Yoga practice, we move with the rhythm of our breath (vinyasa) & use our breath to ENHANCE & deepen our postures
I use breath cues constantly as everything shifts when you can bring your focus to your breath!
