👣 FEEL GOOD FOOT RELEASE 👣

A quick video for you all to show you how to roll your feet with a small ball (use a small, soft ball and not a golf ball⛳️ if you are new to rolling or have a condition such as plantar fasciitis).

You can do this standing or sitting.

Do not put too much pressure on the ball, start gently and then only apply as much pressure as you can handle. It will feel a little uncomfortable but should not feel painful.

CORPORATE MOBIFLEX SESSIONS

Thank you to the lovely staff at Warnbro Community High School for having me conduct another session for them!
In this session, we focused on how to find THEIR neutral spine, how to release and activate the feet 👣 (happy feet help to create a happy body), shoulder and thoracic mobility (to help with “hunching”over desks and technology), and self trigger point release using just a tennis ball 🎾

Our small group Pilates classes (maximum of 6 people) give you the best of both worlds: expert guidance where you will still receive individual attention in a supportive environment and where you’re never just a number.

With props (such as the Magic Circle & Foam Roller as pictured), we work on strength in body (especially the core), balance, flexibility, and mindful movement—always grounded in the Pilates principles of control, concentration, and precision.

Using a combination of self trigger point release, nerve mobilisation, and targeted stretching, we released tension through the shoulders to achieve a dramatic improved range of motion!

Functional Mobility 👣

This exercise may look simple, but it’s not necessarily easy, especially when trying to execute it correctly.

This movement challenges your hips, knees, ankles, core and especially your feet to work together with control, strength, and coordination.

The “not so easy” part is:
1. Make sure that you do not swing your leg outwards when placing it behind you or stepping the leg forward.
2. Keep the toes flexed under your foot.
