Exciting news, our staff team have been working around the clock and we are back open 🎉

The pool will be open to the public from today 3.30pm to 7pm. We will be closed tomorrow due to the St Arnaud Piranhas swim meet, which means we will be back open to the public againi on Sunday from 1pm depending on the weather forecast. Swimming Lessons are alsgoing ahead today 🏊‍♂️

A big thank you to the community for your patience over the past few days. We will hopefully see you at the pool again soon!

Attention St Arnaud Community

We regretfully advise the pool will be closed until further notice.

We are experiencing issues in the plantroom, which has unfortunately affected the clarity of the water. While our team has been working hard to try to remedy the clarity over the past few days, it hasn't improved.

We will be in touch with all swimming lesson families tomorrow regarding a make-up lesson. In the meantime, please keep an eye on our socials for when we can re-open again. Please know we are working as hard as we can 🩵

These are things I often discuss with people regarding all kinds of injuries and pain! Really pleased to see the holistic approach of looking after the entire person rather than one area is having more discussion! 👏👏👏

Back pain affects 1 in 6 people on average and costs the nation $3.4 billion annually in treatment and pain management.

Recent research from the University of Sydney suggests that a healthy lifestyle can reduce disability, improving the quality of life among those suffering from chronic back pain.

Associate Professor Christopher Williams MACP reveals that chronic lower back pain is often linked to lifestyle factors like poor diet, lack of physical activity, and smoking.

“Resolving back pain needs to focus on more than the back. Our bodies are not like machines, we are more like ecosystems where lots of factors interact and determine how we work and feel. Back pain is no different. So, when someone has back pain that doesn’t get better, they should expect to get comprehensive care about a range of health factors, not just a focus on what’s happening in their spine. We should shout this message from rooftops.”
