The way eligibility is assessed is shifting, with a stronger focus on how disability impacts everyday life—not just diagnosis. While there is still a lot we don’t know, what matters right now is being prepared: gathering real-life evidence, documenting daily challenges, and making sure your full story is seen and heard.

What an incredible day at Your Story Community Supports! Our hearts (and stomachs) are full after an unforgettable Easter celebration with our amazing participants, families, and team. 💛

From heartfelt speeches to high-energy karaoke, today was all about what we do best: building community and creating joy.

We are pleased to announce that Cranebrook is now open, conveniently located within the City of Penrith, NSW.

Our property offers 8 modern, fully self-contained rooms, each with its own private bathroom and kitchen.

Currently, only 3 rooms remain available, including 1 fully accessible room designed to accommodate mobility needs.

A great day out in the city with participants from one of our SIL homes. 🏡 👏

This community access outing supported participants to build independence, strengthen social connections, and engage meaningfully in their local community. The day included catching a ferry, enjoying a waterfront meal, and finishing with some 10-pin bowling, all chosen to promote choice, confidence, and participation. 💯

Most importantly, it was a day filled with shared laughter, positive experiences, and genuine connection. These moments reflect the value of person-centred support and the importance of creating opportunities that align with each participant’s goals and interests. 🙌

One of Your Story Community Supports key goals this year is to actively get out into the community and connect with like-minded professionals and providers across the sector. We strongly believe that collaboration, shared ideas, and strong relationships are essential to achieving meaningful outcomes. 🙌
