A celebration of the life of William (Bill) Thomas Hayes Bodman OAM will be held at The Regent Theatre, 210 Commercial Road Yarram at 2:00 PM on MONDAY (2 March, 2026). Privately cremated.

An incredible uncle to Dylan & Maddison, who he was so proud of.
Adored cousin to Debbie, Sharon, Michael (dec), Andrew, Daniel, Aidan, Dusty, Kiah & Luka.
Shane was an all-round great mate to so many – loyal, kind, full of stories and laughter, and always ready to help. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, friendships, and love that will never fade.

MELHUISH Merle Veronica
With great sadness we announce the passing of Merle Veronica Melhuish on 1/1/2026, Merle passed away peacefully, held in God’s grace.

Merle was a person of strong faith and was devoted to the Lord; she lived with kindness towards others and had a great love for her family. Her trust and faith in the Lord shaped her life and brought comfort to those around her.

A devoted mother to her four children: Phillip, Laurence, Caroline and Rhonda, her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Merle is now at peace, reunited with her beloved husband Richard and welcomed into eternal rest.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Forever loved.
Forever in God’s care.

A celebration of the life of Mrs Merle Veronica Melhuish will be held at Gippsland Memorial Park Chapel, Cemetery Lane Traralgon at 2:00 PM on TUESDAY (Jan. 13, 2026) followed by burial in the Traralgon Cemetery.
Guests attending are requested to wear a little something red.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers and acts of kindness in Merle's memory.
