Shae Wilson

We would be very surprised if you haven’t seen Shae in the clinic, she has been an integral part of our team since 2010, although she previously worked at Mason House and was part of the initial group that joined forces for the greater good of Inglis Medical Centre!

You find her with the team Head to Health Wellington!

She is a registered nurse and an accredited mental health nurse with an endearing quality that makes her a staff and patient favourite.

Did you know Shae and her beautiful family took 12 months off and did a lap of our great country?

We know it’s important to look after our mental health but it can be hard to know where to start.

Head to Health is a safe and welcoming space to talk to someone if you, or someone you care about, is in distress or needs help finding the right mental health support.

The staff at Head to Health can provide advice, immediate or short to medium term care and can help you connect with other local services. You don’t need a referral or appointment and the service is free - call 1800 595 212 week days between 8.30am and 5pm.

World mental health day has been the perfect excuse for our team to get out of their offices and remind us all of some self help tools, how to reach out if your feelings aren’t managed on their own and that it’s ok to not feel ok all the time.

Spent some time with our friends at Wurruk Community House this week.

What a great community they are.

The first Wednesday of every month includes food pantry, a visit from Tabithas Closet and now a visit from us.

Pop in and say hello 👋🏼

Getting out in the community is what we love best!

On Wednesday, we had 2 nurses, doing Covid & Flu vaccines and our mental health nurse from Head to Health Wellington join the amazing team at Wurruk Community House and Tabithas closet.
