💼 Employment Requirements

To apply for a position, applicants will need:
• ✔️ 100 points of ID and right to work (Birth Certificate required)
• ✔️ NDIS Screening Check
• ✔️ NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• ✔️ Working With Children Check – Employee Version
• ✔️ Certificates relevant to the industry or minimum 2 years’ experience
• ✔️ Up-to-date car registration and insurance
• ✔️ Current First Aid and CPR training
• ✔️ Hand Hygiene and Infection Control training
• ✔️ Assist Clients With Medication (HLTHPS006)

✨ Day 2 in Melbourne – Individual STA Adventure! ✨
Sometimes we all just need a little getaway — a chance to recharge, explore, and enjoy something special. 💛

Today we visited the Harry Potter Exhibition in Brunswick, and it was absolutely magical! 🪄✨
From iconic props to interactive displays, every moment sparked excitement and curiosity. It was wonderful to see our participant having such a great time, soaking in the atmosphere and creating memories to treasure.

These individual STA trips are all about choice, joy, and meaningful experiences — and today was exactly that. 🌟

Here’s to more adventures, more smiles, and more moments that remind us why person-centred support matters so much.

🌟 Individual 1:1 STA in Melbourne 🌟
Sometimes we all just need a little break — time to reset, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved me time.

This week one of our participants headed off to Melbourne for a personalised 1:1 Short Term Accommodation experience, designed entirely around their goals, interests, and relaxation needs. 🏙✨

Whether it’s exploring the city, trying new foods, enjoying quiet downtime, or simply having space to breathe — STA can make a world of difference.

At Assist Gippsland, we believe everyone deserves opportunities to feel supported, empowered, and refreshed. 💛

🎨 Assist Gippsland Annual Art Exhibition at the Gippsland Art Gallery

We are so proud to showcase the incredible creativity and talent of our participants at this year’s Annual Art Exhibition, held at the Gippsland Art Gallery! 🌟

Our display is featured in the Youth Space, close to the Indigenous Space, creating a beautiful connection between youth, culture, and community. Each artwork tells its own story — of expression, courage, and the joy of creating.

Art plays such an important role at Assist Gippsland, providing our participants with opportunities to explore their talents, build confidence, and share their unique perspectives with the wider community. 💛

✨ A very special thank you to Rebecca for all her hard work, passion, and dedication in organising this exhibition for our clients. Your effort and creativity have brought this beautiful showcase together and made it an experience our participants will remember with pride.

A big thank you also to our wonderful artists, support staff, and the Gippsland Art Gallery for their continued support and for providing a space where inclusion and creativity shine.
