Embrace The Mind Arts Therapy Creative arts are a form of expression not bound by language. I also bake a mean batch of cookies, and have a serious thing for nature. I simply feel better.

I am a passionate Registered Nurse and Mental health Acis Recovery Clinician who has in-depth knowledge and experience working with clients who have experienced acute Mental Health crisis as well as supporting them through the Recovery model of care. I offer experience working with clients by using a healing and holistic modality that utilizes art and creativity as tools for expression not impression. It is a path toward self-realization, it is soul work that also considers the mind, body and emotions. I use my training in this field to help others by creating the space for people to access, connect with and express their authentic self. To do this, I draw upon artistic methods, creative processes, empowering techniques, client centered counselling and a healing approach, including; meditation, visualization, dreamwork, drawing, collage, clay work, the mandala (sacred circle), mask making, archetypes, journaling, storytelling, movement, rituals and more. I am also an Artist, and Holistic Integrative Creative Arts Therapy Practitioner (Holistic Councilor for short). I believe I am a Catalyst for Creative Transformation and am based in Sale Victoria, with a vision to assist and inspire others in living the life they were born to create, my work includes; empowering sessions, classes and workshops; I also love painting with textured acrylic modelling paste adjoined with beautiful and bright acrylic paints (there’s just something about colorful texture on canvas that soothes the soul). The journey I have taken that has led me to my current path of helping others through art and creativity involves, what I would say “a natural extension of my own personal journey and lived experience”. As well as being an avenue of expression, a voice and a form of communication, art and creativity have been a way for me to process emotions and experiences, release and embrace aspects of myself and unveil a clearer reflection of who I really am. Creativity feels like a necessity for my cells to be healthy, like cells need oxygen. Because of my personal experience in living a conscious creative path I feel passionate to help others in a creative way. It is amazingly rewarding and can be very fun,. I believe this form of therapy should be shared with anyone who wishes to communicate and find their voice through art. If I had to describe myself I would say I am - Creative. Exploring. Expanding. Connected. Sensitive.
