HealthLinks Gippsland (formerly East Gippsland Osteopathic Clinic) was established in Orbost in 1998 by principal practitioner Dr Belinda Coulton. In 2007 Dr Patrick Callanan joined the practice bringing over 15 years of clinical experience. In 2009 the practice expanded and opened a clinic in Sale, with a clinic opening in Bairnsdale in 2016 and another in Traralgon in September 2017. We have moved into our own premises in Bairnsdale in 2020 and Traralgon in 2021, then expanded to Yarram in 2021. We rebranded as HealthLinks Gippsland in January 2023.

A bit about Tom:
Tom is a graduate osteopath from RMIT University with a strong interest in supporting people with chronic and persistent pain. He is especially passionate about education-focused approaches to care, and emphasises helping patients better understand their body and feel confident returning to the activities they enjoy.

Having represented Australia at the Wildwater Kayaking World Championships, Tom brings personal experience as a high-performance athlete to his work as an osteopath. He has a strong appreciation for movement, and is highly motivated to help people stay active despite pain or injury.

Outside the clinic, Tom is heavily involved in caving, rock climbing, and kayaking, with extensive experience and a strong passion for challenging outdoor environments

Welcome Jen - Clinical Psychologist!

We are excited to have Jen provide her clinical psychology service in our Sale clinic on Thursdays!

Jen is an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist partnering with HealthLinks Gippsland to provide tailored therapeutic support and assessments (ADHD, autism, cognitive, academic) to the Sale and wider Gippsland community. Jen has specific interest in supporting people who have experienced complex and developmental trauma, with extensive experience working with trauma-related distress, as well as mood, anxiety, dissociative, and personality disorders, and chronic pain. Jen also has experience working with neurodiverse individuals, prioritising neuroaffirming care and ensuring that therapeutic support and assessments are strength-based and respectful.

Jen draws from a range of therapeutic modalities to ensure the approach taken is appropriate and person-centred. Jen has specialised training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Structural Dissociation, and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (tf-CBT). Jen has also repeatedly attended training and conferences hosted by Yellow Ladybugs to ensure ongoing neuroaffirming practice.These therapeutic modalities are drawn upon as appropriate and collaboratively to ensure that support is tailored to the individual needs of each person. Regardless of the therapeutic modality, Jen prioritises a warm, non-judgemental, and empathic therapeutic relationship. She takes time to understand and collaborate with each individual to establish unique and personalised goals to work towards.
