✨ YIN YOGA at Yoga Space Gippsland

Yin Yoga moves at a much slower pace and focuses on stretching ligaments and connective tissues, to increase flexibility and invoke a deep sense of calm. Poses are held for longer and there is a strong meditative element to this style of yoga, which will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and restored.

SOMAYOGA
This class begins with slow and gentle yoga asana, with the invitation to soften into a less structured form and moving into movement with music.
NERVOUS SYSTEM
SomaYoga utilises music as a tool. We invite repetitive rhythmic movements, fluid yoga asana and intuitive dance flow. Positive breath and body work shifts our nervous system into rejuvenation mode.
RELEASE
Somatic movement encourages self awareness and intuition, whilst opening and releasing any stuck holding patterns.

✨ Pop-Up Meditation series with Kristen from .coaching starts Tuesday 10th March 7.15-8.15pm

✨ Alicia’s Equestrian Yoga is now part of the MindBody booking system - starting now! Mondays 12.30-1.45pm

✨ This also includes her Friday evening Yoga Flow + Restore class which is open to all and is on MindBody NOW! Fridays 5.30-6.45pm

We’re excited that next week Alicia’s Equestrian Yoga class will be on MindBody - this class is open to any riders, regardless of experience!

Would you like to feel more balanced and supple in the saddle? Do you struggle to be soft and responsive when you ride? Is the tension in your hips and lower back affecting your riding?

These classes focus on your specific needs as riders and combine yoga with Pilates-based strength exercises.

Join her for a pop-up SomaYoga and dance, great excuse to get out on a school night and have some fun - please book ASAP as spots are limited! All tickets $20.

Somatic means ‘of the body’.
In this class we will embrace movement via pulsing asana, rhythmic body flow and free form dance.
Somatic movement invites awareness of the internal experience, rather than external appearance.
Joints and muscles are opened, allowing space to breathe in and release out.
Mind-body-breath connects with music, as we move from our mindful flow to intuitive movement.
These movements encourage the release of stuck (negative) patterns and initiates retraining the nervous system.
This is therapeutic playtime, grounding and uplifting simultaneously.

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday - a reminder we are closed today and will re-open Tuesday.

A message from Kathy -
Thank you dear yogis for attending with open hearts and minds! We had a full house, and it was a privilege to be your guide.
A few tears were shed, lots of noise and whoops, laughter and stillness in silence.
I hope you are inspired to hum and dance every single day!
