It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the untimely passing of our friend and Colleague John Cronin (Maffra Vision Care). So many of our families were blessed to have benefited from this amazing man’s skills - he was extraordinary and one of kind!
It was his influence that taught me as a young health professional to think outside the box - to always aspire to do better - think laterally - to challenge the ‘norm’ and never give up until we found answers. This teamship I had with John for all these years helped to shape me as a professional and LaLa as a team. His influence and guidance reflects who LaLa is today and the practices we share with our kids and families. For that, we will be forever grateful to this wonderful, humble human who I have called a friend for the last 26 years! Fly high JC you will be so missed down here. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of John Cronin, our founder, mentor and friend. John dedicated his service to the Maffra and Gippsland community for more than 33 years. He was committed to improving vision, promoting eye health, and empowering children to learn to their fullest potential.
Our love and thoughts go to John’s family and friends during this time, as we all come to terms with the loss of such a great man. John had such a devotion and love for optometry and the patients that he cared for. He changed so many lives, especially those of us here at Maffra Vision Care. He built and grew John Cronin Optometrist into the practice that it is today.
He will be dearly missed.
A celebration of John’s life will be held next Friday the 8th, 1pm at Semmens Funerals
