This week at Inspired Options we got into the spirit of Christmas. 🎄 🎅⭐️ We played and sang Christmas carols 🎶 we put up the Christmas tree and decorations. We also made Christmas cards 💕

🚌🌞We had a lovely drive to Kapunda to see the recently completed silo art🎨🖌. The amazing 🤩art is of a miner standing in a tunnel holding a piece of copper looking towards the town and it took just over a month to complete. 😍

🌼🌸The Friday crew went for a drive to see “Elysian Fields” which is the latest art installation in Glenelg. We walked the length of Jetty Road and found the beautiful 5 metre flower sculptures. 🌷💐

IOSA spent a morning with Belinda from Clay's Cool in the 🐝Bee shed at The Precinct making Olla pots 🪴which are a self-watering system for your garden. They were all unique with some great designs and the crew had a wonderful time making them. 😃

🎃👻💀 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️IOSA Halloween Party 🎊🎈🎉 The crew spent time decorating, crafting and making sweet treats 🍰for our Halloween party. We dressed up, posed for photos and played games. 🍩The doughnut challenge always produces lots of laughs 🤣and some have become experts over the years! We played getting the ping pong ball into the eye of the pumpkin, had lunch and devoured the goodies. 😋

The Inspired Options crew had a barbecue last Friday. We soaked up the park's awesome weather, ☀️grilling and chilling. We had a great day🌭🌳 🍁

🎨On Friday the IOSA crew tried their hand at quilling. This involved cutting and rolling strips of paper to create decorative designs. We rolled paper around paint brushes to get the shapes we wanted then glued the pieces together and stuck them on to card. The paper could not be cut quick enough as the crew ploughed through the task of rolling the paper. Everyone found the process to be relaxing and therapeutic. All enjoyed this activity which involved using their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. We think the results are great for our first efforts. 🥰

Last week our Inspired Options crew visited the Salisbury Hub for story time. 📖
We really enjoyed singing songs, the stories that were read to us and the craft session in which we decorated faces with all kinds of materials.✂️ 🖌️

🎨We had a fun day visiting Evelina's World in the Flour Shed at Hart's Mill for SALA week. The shed was full of giant inflatables and Eco Mazes which you could walk through. We listened to stories, dressed up and completed interactive activities. 😄
