Minty and Geoff Jackson established Samford Chiropractic Centre in 2005 after living, studying and practicing in both Melbourne and Sydney for 25 years. Minty and Geoff have over 50 years combined experience in Chiropractic care and use the most modern and gentle of techniques to adjust the spine. “Chiropractic technique has evolved over the years and now bears very little resemblance to most peoples idea of what chiropractors do,” said Minty. Chiropractic is a very safe gentle and effective way to minimise nerve interference caused by spinal stress, many conditions from pain and stiffness to headache can benefit for gentle spinal correction. Chiropractic care is effective for babies through to senior citizens, “we regularly see children and new born babies and our oldest patients are in there 90’s”said Geoff. Chiropractic is not only helpful for obvious symptomatic issues but can also help slow, stop and in some cases even reverse the slow degenerative changes that result from intermediate to long term spinal dysfunction. The centre is very child friendly “we have more problems getting kids out of the adjusting rooms than in,” said Minty. This weekend, Dr Anthony will be in Perth as a member of the SOT educational team, teaching Cranial techniques to other Chiropractors.

Visit Dr. Alice and Dr. Anthony at the Wellbeing Expo on March 8th, held at Cedar Creek Public Hall in Closeburn, from 9am-4:30pm. Tickets are free and there are lucky door prizes for attendees!

They will be hosting a stall, providing information on all aspects of Chiropractic care, health, and wellness, in addition to offering spinal and postural assessments.

Dr. Anthony will deliver a 30-minute presentation at 1:30pm, discussing the benefits of Chiropractic care and its ability to induce long-lasting neurological changes.

The long awaited addition to our family...congratulations Alice & Andy on the birth of Vincenzo. Born in record time (3 hours!) on the 1st of Sept at 10:28pm weighing in at 3.6kg. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way including Samford Chiropractic Centre (helping to keep the pelvis functioning as well as it can for a complication free birth) 😊 and acupuncture from Grounded Wellness Co (induction acupuncture that really works! haha)

We cant wait to welcome Anthony who will be helping out while Alice is on maternity leave!

Dr Anthony hails from a little country town called Allora, near Toowoomba. He decided to move to Melbourne to study Chiropractic after year 12 as he experienced the life changing effects of Chiropractic care as a 12 year old.

Since graduating from uni in 2018 he has practiced both regionally and in cities across the country and is currently working as a locum Chiropractor around south east QLD. He utilises both gentle and manual Chiropractic techniques to help his patients reach their health goals and has a special interest in SOT.

When he's not working you can find him on walks with with his Dachshund, Ronnie, running, on hikes, camping, travelling, going to live music gigs or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

He can't wait to meet you all!

Wear and tear of every day life can impact the spine and cause spinal segments to move in a way that is different to how they normally would. That wear and tear can happen gradually, such as from bad posture at work or school, or it can happen suddenly, such as a sports injury. Because of the close relationship between the spine and the nervous system, every day strains can impact the flow of information and communication between the brain and the body, which is when symptoms might arise. Chiropractic care treats the cause, by addressing these dysfunctional segments of the spine, not just the symptoms.
