Today we celebrate R U OK? day with inviting our residents to the café to have a chat and receive a little treat (cupcake).
It was lovely to see so many people gather and have a conversation with others they normally wouldn’t. After all a conversation can change a life!

Today our small group of ladies headed out on an op shop tour, followed by morning tea of course! We had so much fun and so much laughter to go with a few good bargains.

🌼 Yesterday at Samford we held Daffodil Day, combined with our Hamburger Day. The day was a great event, it was so lovely to see so many residents join us to support Cancer Council Australia. We made 72 Hamburgers, sold Daffodils, cupcakes, and raffle tickets.
We love to see our residents having such a great time for a great cause. 🌼

On Friday our group made their way to VEND Virginia. The ladies had a ball exploring all the little shops after a very delicious morning tea.

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have the Qld Police Pipes & Drums join us here at Samford. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit and can’t wait to have them back again! 🥁 🥁

We ❤️ Rock 'n Roll. 🎸 Our committee along with a large band of helpers organised a night with professional dancers, vintage cars, greta music and we danced the night away. It was a great night with milkshakes and local pizzas too.

We were happy to support the new Samford business -Kenilworth Country Bakery... we can say that their donuts are absolutely delicious, we highly recommend picking up a box... or two! 🍩

🍔 Today was International Hamburger Day here at Samford Grove - we've combined it with the State of Origin tonight. There seems to be a wave of Maroon in our village.... We hope this doesn't make anyone feel blue....

Today we took a group of ladies out to Brookfield Garden Centre and then had morning tea at Wild Canary. An absolutely gorgeous morning with and the rain even held off! 🪴 🍰 🫖
