Dr Michelle Ledbury is proud to take ownership of Samford Valley Medical Centre from Dr Trish Moloney. While Michelle may have bigger feet, she knows she has some big shoes to fill! She is excited to lead the Medical Centre into the future, honouring Trish’s legacy and continuing the whole-person, family-centred and comprehensive health care our community knows and trusts.
Established over 30 years ago, Samford’s original medical centre will remain GP-owned and operated, with our dedicated doctors, experienced nurses, and amazing support team working together to meet the specific health needs of our community with care, compassion, and commitment.

From 1st July 2025, CT scan screening is available to look for lung cancer in smokers or ex smokers between 50-70 years of age.

The aim is to detect lung cancer at an early, treatable stage even before symptoms occur.

Speak to your GP at SVMC to find out if you think you could be eligible for screening.
