As a herbalist, I usually create body butters, balms, oils & creams infused with herbs for specific needs. When the plain, natural body butter we stocked at Good Things organic was discontinued, I decided to recreate a version myself. After a few seasons of refining, the formula found its rhythm ✨This is my plain, herb – free body butter made with just 5 organic ingredients and natural vitamin E. Handmade in small batches so it’s fresh, deeply nourishing, and melts into the skin. A little truly goes a long way.💗 Available in Bulk Nowra.

Some of Today’s Harvest – I felt the rush to gather as much as I could at midday, before tonight‘s Wolf full moon in cancer. Traditionally, harvesting above – ground plant parts such as leaves, flowers and fruit at the full moon is said to capture the moon strength, when nutrients are at their peak and the plants carry a heightened lunar quality, both energetically and medicinally. grateful to also harvest a little California poppy with its subtle lunar relationship. Though the wolf moon name comes from other lands, this first Full Moon of the year still reflects Cancers connection to emotions, feelings and the tides. High tide is tomorrow morning. Enjoy the moon tonight 🌕

Topical infused oils use minimal ingredients and a little natural vitamin E to prevent rancidity. Cherished since at least the first century, herbal oils remain a traditional way to nourish the skin. My Face & Body Herbal Oil includes Organic Jojoba Slowly infused with locally grown & hand harvested Gotu kola – a revered Ayurvedic herb known to support skin repair, cell regeneration, and collagen production. It’s rounded, soft, cell–like leaves echo the look of renewed skin cells, reflecting its signature & affinity for skin health. Gotu kola also contains fat – soluble vitamins like vitamin A, making it ideal for oil infusions. Made in small batches using traditional methods you can find my oil blends Nowra.

Chickweed salve is back in stock!! My chickweed salve is a blend of 4 traditional skincare herbs all organically grown here in the Shoalhaven, hand harvested and infused in organic oils – mainly chickweed and plantain, and smaller amounts of nourishing Gotu kola and calming calendula. Chickweed thrives in the cooler months – lush, vibrant and full of moisture – which is when I love to pick it for food and medicine. It retreats a little in the heat of Summer except in the shady corners of my garden so this is my last big batch of chickweed salve for the year i have a smaller chickweed oil currently infusing. This salve is a beautiful one to have on hand through Summer it may assist with soothing insect bites (helped along by plantain’s traditional drawing action), and dry or itchy, heat-aggravated skin. Ruled by the moon chickweed has that cooling and soothing Yin quality, I love to harvest when the moon is out, even better on a full moon to capture that lunar energy. You can find them on the shelf in Nowra or Vincentia.

Thinking back to the beautiful evening yoga Nidra & sound bath session at the “come as you are retreat” with Wendy . With Christmas coming up, I’m definitely craving more of that relaxation and self-care. Thank you, Wendy for inviting me to share a herbal talk before I headed to Queensland. I loved talking about the herbs that thrive here in the shoalhaven, working with natural cycles, and how herbs can show us when it’s time to lean into their support. If you haven’t tried Wendy’s yoga Nidra, sound baths, retreats, craft days, or meditation circles, I highly recommend them. That last session before I left, helped keep me grounded while travelling – wild northern weather and all. Check out Wendy’s latest offerings; she’s always creating something beautiful.

I’ve been back from Queensland for just over a week after visiting family and attending the grassroots botany for herbalists event at Mount Coot-tha botanical Gardens. It was such a nourishing experience to be surrounded by other herbal practitioners. True wortcunners- sharing herb talk, manufacturing ideas, wandering through the botanic Gardens and identifying plants together, and seeing what everyone is creating within the world of grassroots herbalism. The speakers were truly inspiring each bringing their own unique style, and a deep connection to plant intelligence and energetics. It was such a rich mix of perspectives, and as a highlight, I even got to meet one of my favourite herbal authors. I’ve returned to the South Coast feeling refreshed, inspired and full of new ideas-from creating my own herbarium, new herbs to add into my garden apothecary, different extraction Methods to consciously working on my sensory analysis technique. Thankyou Elizabeth from for weaving together such a beautiful & meaningful day 💗 🌹 🌸 🌱

I am incredibly inspired to share that I won one of the Ripples of Health draws! I vaguely remember scanning a code at the NatEx seminar last year, and to my surprise, I won $1,000 worth of herbal supplements from Give Back Health. The Ripples of Health initiative focuses on giving back to those in need and creating a positive ripple effect on health in communities. These supplements will help me better serve my clients, my community, and my practice, making a real difference for a small business like mine. Let the positive work begin! Thank you so much, Give Back Health!

Are you prepared for winter? No one relishes the idea of catching a cold, but equipping yourself with natural remedies just in case can make those times a little more bearable. So here is your friendly reminder to stock up your herbal cupboard for the cold season. Herbs such as thyme, sage, and garlic possess antimicrobial properties. Similarly, cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric also offer warming benefits during illness.
Also consider vitamin C with zinc, fire cider, chicken soup, or bone broth (freeze or purchase from ). Herbs like echinacea, elderberries, and yarrow in syrup or tea form can also be helpful.
If we feel unwell, it’s crucial to prioritize rest and nutrition. Being well-prepared helps you navigate recovery easier… if you're interested in arming your cupboard with some herbal teas or extract blends, please get in touch.

When asked about my profession as a Herbalist, I often encounter the assumption that I simply grow herbs haha. While it is true that I possess a green thumb and grow various types of food and medicinal herbs for making herbal medicine, this aspect represents only my lifestyle and manufacturing side of my work.
Additionally I prescribe Quality Herbal Medicine. Similar to consultations with a business advisor, naturopath, or general practitioner, a thorough Herbal consultation is necessary to prescribe Herbal Medicine adequately and safely. These consultations typically last an hour and we cover a lot in that time.
This approach allows me to offer personalized treatments, support, and holistic education to my clients, thereby enhancing their overall well-being. There are many popular herbs that clients often wish to learn about, such as Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera). Please feel free to inquire about any specific Herbs you are interested in discussing.
