🎄🎁 All About Living Groups – Christmas in July Party! 🎅✨ One of our most loved Groups events of the year did not disappoint. With great food, great company, fun gifts and plenty of laughs, the day was bursting with festive cheer.

Our wonderful AAL Groups Participants truly brought the Christmas spirit to life. It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces enjoying the celebration together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one! ❤️💚

🎄✨ Staff Christmas in July 🎉 We may only be halfway to Christmas, but the spirit is alive and well at All About Living! 🎅🧣💚

Our annual Ugly Sweater Competition was a festive hit, and wow, what a tough call for the judges with so many fabulous contenders! 👏 Big congratulations to Mel from Reception, who took out first prize!

The team was also treated to an absolute feast. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and brought the festive cheer.

🌟 What a masterpiece of a day! 🎨🧀 Thanks to our Social Club Committee for organising such a fantastic event!

Team members from All About Living came together for a Graze & Glaze afternoon creating beautiful resin cheese boards and coasters, enjoying some delicious nibbles, and sharing plenty of laughs.

It was a lovely opportunity to relax, connect, and tap into our creative side. Just another reminder that our talents go far beyond aged care.

🌟 From Trainee to Team Leader: Nikki’s Journey with All About Living 🌟 We are thrilled to congratulate Nikki on stepping into the interim role of Team Leader. This is a well-earned recognition of her commitment, compassion, and determination.

Nikki joined All About Living in 2018 after completing her traineeship. Her path into aged care was not something she had planned. After more than 14 years in banking and time spent as a mum, she knew she did not want to return to the finance world. Unsure of her next step, a career advisor encouraged her to explore training opportunities. When she saw an ad for an aged care traineeship with All About Living, something clicked. Having supported her grandmother, Nikki knew this was work she could truly enjoy. She was the first in her class to graduate and joined our team immediately after.

From day one, Nikki has gone above and beyond. After a few years in aged care, she completed her disability support training to expand her skills and support more clients. She notes that the journey has not always been easy. There have been challenging days and complex situations, but she credits the unwavering support of the leadership team “They’re only ever a phone call away.”

For Nikki, the most meaningful moments are not about accolades, but about people. She recalls a once-shy client who, over time, began to enjoy weekly outings. What started as short, tentative trips soon became joyful adventures, helping the client build confidence and reconnect with the world.

Outside of work, Nikki continues to make a difference. She volunteers at her local football club, helping young people gain hospitality experience and work-ready skills, and supports a community op shop, EMM Power, that provides secondhand items to those in the local area, as well as free bread on weekends to those that need it.

Her advice for anyone starting out in aged care? “Fake it till you make it. Be confident, ask questions, and embrace the challenges, because this career truly makes a difference.”

We are so proud to have Nikki as part of the All About Living family. Her story is a reminder that with heart and purpose, you can truly change lives, including your own.
