Dragons Bribie Island

Dragons Bribie Island We are breast cancer survivors of various ages from a diverse range of backgrounds, athletic abilities and interests.

Bribie Dragons provide a "face" for breast cancer statistics whilst spreading the message of breast cancer awareness through participation in the wonderful and strenuous sport of dragon boat racing. High on our list of priorities is having fun, trying new things, meeting interesting people and being involved in the challenging physical activity of dragonboating to promoting breast cancer awareness

. If you want to:
Get fit
Make new friends
Have fun and get in touch with your competitive side
Then Dragon Boating is the sport for YOU!!! We invite all breast cancer survivors and supporters to come and experience the magic that is part of our unique team - not necessarily as a paddler; there are many tasks that we welcome assistance with.

Today at the Australian Dragon Boat titles we spotted our old paddles, gifted to the fledgling UQ Dragon Boat team a few years ago still in use. You’ve got to love the girls sense of humour, suggesting the boys were good for shark bait. These kids are now awesome paddlers.

An early fun St Patrick's Day paddle yesterday and today a visit to the Abbey Museum, one of Moreton Bay Shire’s hidden treasures. There is always something for Bribie Pink Dragon members, both on and off the water.
