Join Penny this Sunday (in person or online) for an afternoon of discussion, exploration, and experimentation with practices to soothe our systems in an often-frazzled world.
We will cover:
- The basic ‘anatomy’ of human stress responses
- The relationship between stress and yoga as wholeness
- How and why specific practices can stimulate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) response
- The relationship between yoga and ‘nervous system flexibility’
- Beyond the band-aid – how yogic skills and capacities can support greater freedom in how we live and work with our stress responses, as well live more within our window of capacity over the long term.
