Struggling to fit your rehab into your busy schedule? 🧑‍💼 Here I discuss a simple strategy with a patient to help get their rehab in. What’s the strategy? Use our rehab exercises as a warm up every day they hit the gym! What should you do if you can’t hit the gym? Find points in your day that you can use as a trigger to action your exercises e.g. as soon as you get home from work change and do your 10 minutes of rehab. Simple yet easy to execute strategies that you can be consistent with is a key to recovery and building back your performance.

Use the 10% rule! Only increasing your variables by a maximum in 10% per week. Managing your load is a huge factor when preventing injury occurrence, especially when it comes to shin splints.

New or novice runners tend to experience injuries more often than experienced runners & shin splints tend to top the injury list. So if you’re a new runner stick to the 10% rule and it will go a long way!
