Chinese Medicine, along with Ayurveda, is one of the oldest existing healing traditions on the planet.

 A central concept to Chinese Medicine is the concept of the flow of Qi.

Qi - translated to English means the invisible ‘life force’ or ‘vital energy’ that breathes life into all living organisms.

In the human body, Qi flows through meridians.

Meridians are an energy distribution system (like a river or a road); they are energy pathways that are mapped throughout the body.

Meridians distribute Qi to the body's organs, tissues, cells and to the body’s various organ systems such as the immune system and nervous system.

Healthy Qi flow in the physical body ensures optimal health and longevity. Balancing the Qi flow of the meridians also strongly affects the emotions. Each organ has corresponding emotional expressions.

Sound Healing treatments are offered to restore emotional balance and wellbeing by balancing the meridian Qi flow.
