💙 World Autism Awareness Day — 2 April 2026 💙

At Sarina Clinic, we join the global community in recognising, educating, and supporting individuals and families living with autism.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts, and experiences the world. Every individual on the spectrum is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and support needs.

**What autism is NOT:**
• It is not temporary
• It is not contagious
• It is not caused by “bad parenting” or simply a behavioural issue

**What autism IS:**
• A spectrum with a wide range of presentations
• A lifelong condition
• A different way of perceiving and experiencing the world

Awareness leads to understanding, and understanding leads to acceptance and support. On this day, we encourage our community to learn more, reduce stigma, and support inclusion for people with autism.

For more information and resources, visit:
https://www.autismspeaks.org/resource-guide/

If you have concerns about development or would like guidance, our team at Sarina Clinic is here to help.

💙 Let’s work together to build a more informed, inclusive, and supportive community.
