Let me introduce you to the exceptionally gifted, wickedly smart and all round brilliant women who make up the heartbeat of Motion Health and Wellness Clinic.

Motion has had many evolutions over the course of the last decade and a half, but this by far is my favourite.

I set out wanting to make a space for heart-led business women to share their gifts and talents with our local community. What I didn't realise would come with this goal is the support, encouragement and joyfulness it cultivates.

Learning to dance in the messy middle is an artwork within itself.

As a highly ambitious person, taking an unplanned but extremely needed 18-month (so far) sabbatical from treating people was challenging on every level possible.

Not having a clear path forward or clear end goal was so foreign to me. I was so used to setting a goal, working towards it and achieving it. Suddenly any goal I made seemed placed upon shifting sand and every step forward, the goal became redundant.

But the beauty of this messy middle, was meeting myself at a depth I didn't know was possible. The unravelling of everything I thought was important vs what actually matters. Am I still dancing in this messy middle season, absolutely. But now I am enjoying and embracing how it is changing me. Bit by bit, then a whole lot at once.

If you are in the messy middle too, it's time to dance, the stage is yours.

Our Story

Motion Clinic is passionate about helping people have adaptable, pain free, energy efficient movement in every decade of life!

Motion Clinic was launched in October of 2010 as a remedial and sports massage clinic. Since then, owner, Nikita Hill has undergone further studies, completed June 2015, to be one of the first in Australia to offer Anatomy Trains Structural Integration therapy. Feeling there was still something missing and always studying, Nikita has developed her own Motion Transformed Series incorporating structural integration, neurovascular release, visceral rebalancing and myofascial slings movement therapy!

With the clinic getting busier and Nikita’s passion to reach and help more people transform and renew their motion, in October 2019 Leah and Jess joined the therapist team! Leah specialises in remedial and biomechanics, neural release and manual lymphatic drainage. Jess has a huge passion for sports massage, having worked with some of WA elite sporting teams, as well as remedial and relaxation massage. With such a well rounded team here at Motion Clinic we hope to be able to help even more people create adaptable, pain free, energy efficient movement in the years to come!
