This version of me cost me everything familiar

No one saved me

I chose me

I chose the years of inner work

Breakdowns and questioning life

Choosing to embody someone different through all the resistance of my old self

I outgrew a life that was draining me and it was terrifying to watch it fall apart

So when someone meets me and loves my energy

It's not happened overnight

A shy girl that people pleased her whole life to earn love
