How are the ear savers made?

Our ear savers are made using a 3D printer. It melts plastic (called filament) from a reel, using a heated nozzle. This moves to slowly build up plastic in the required areas, in layers to make a 3D shape.

Each 'page' of about 10 ear savers takes from 1-1.5hrs to print.

Hello! We are offering 3D printed plastic ear savers for face masks with elastic loops.

These are FREE for any essential workers that are required to wear a mask at work, including any health or care services, food chain, education etc. We will ship these to anywhere in Australia.

Anyone else can do a local, contactless pickup from Schofields NSW 2762, for the cost of a small cash donation of your choosing. This will help us cover some of the costs of sending to frontline workers.

We are able to print these ear savers thanks to an online community, which is collaborating to rapidly produce and deploy PPE aides where needed.
