The Fighting Sands Brothers, Indigenous Australian fighters from Burnt Ridge, New South Wales, Australia.
From left to right: Clem Sands, Ritchie Sands, George Sands, Dave Sands and Russell Sands. Missing from the photos is sixth brother Alf.
Dave was by far the best-known, as he held multiple Australian titles and the Commonwealth middleweight title. Unfortunately Dave also died at only 26 in a car accident, and just when it seemed he'd positioned himself for bigger fights.
