Psychosocial disability is when a mental health condition has a long-term impact on everyday life. π§ πΏ
It can affect routines, motivation, social connection, getting out of the house, or managing daily tasks.
In the NDIS, the focus is on the impact on daily function, not the label. Support should be flexible and respectful, because some days feel easier and some days feel harder.
NDIS psychosocial supports can include Assistance with Daily Living, help to build routines, support to attend appointments, and NDIS Community Access and Participation at a safe pace.
