Dear friends, these early days of 2026 arrive with a palpable thickness in the air, as if time itself has slowed to ask for deeper attention. Although the calendar has turned, the Year of the Snake is still very much alive, and in its final stretch toward February it intensifies rather than fades. Snake energy does not rush; it tightens, concentrates, and sheds. What we feel now is a compression phase—life narrowing our focus so what is false, outdated, or performative can no longer be carried forward into the new cycle that is already forming beneath the surface.
As this serpentine current strengthens, many people notice heightened bodily awareness. The nervous system may feel more reactive, sleep patterns can become irregular, and there may be sensations of pressure in the head, jaw, throat, or solar plexus. These are classic Snake signatures—energy coiling where truth has been swallowed or where instinct has been overridden for too long. Fatigue can alternate with sudden bursts of clarity or adrenaline, as if the body is recalibrating its internal compass before a decisive release.
Emotionally, the atmosphere is raw and unfiltered. Old memories, ancestral themes, and long-suppressed feelings can surface without warning.
