New Pharmacist Prescribing Services at Sea Lake Pharmacy

Did you know that Sonya is a trained pharmacist that can now help with some common conditions?

At Sea Lake Pharmacy, Sonya can assess and prescribe treatment for:
• Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• The oral contraceptive pill

This service allows eligible patients to receive care quickly and conveniently without needing to wait for a doctor’s appointment.

During the consultation, the pharmacist will:
✔ Discuss your symptoms
✔ Assess whether the service is appropriate for you
✔ Provide treatment if suitable or refer you to a doctor if needed

Did You Know About Nyxoid?

Nyxoid is a life-saving nasal spray used in emergencies to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

Opioids can include medications such as:
• Oxycodone
• Morphine
• Codeine
• Fentanyl
• He**in

If someone takes too much of an opioid, their breathing can slow or stop. Nyxoid works by rapidly reversing these effects and helping restore breathing while waiting for emergency services.
Nyxoid is designed to be easy to use and can be administered as a nasal spray, making it suitable for use in emergencies.

We’re excited to share that we have completed our first sleep study at Sea Lake Pharmacy! Jodie McClelland was our first candidate. She loved it!
