There’s a lot of uncertainty around the world right now, which can influence locally-even though it’s not on our doorstep.
Grief, loss, worry-these things can influence our health from personal experiences too, like when we lose a loved one or find ourselves in a new space in our life. Relationship issues, or even breakdowns in relationships are also triggers for our emotional stability, and ability to focus and get through day to day life dramas 😞
Dr. Rebecca Brook uses both acupuncture and herbal formulas to support patients. Here are two of the formulas she likes to offer patients.
* Gan Mai Da Zao Tang (Licorice, Wheat & Jujube): Nourishes the Heart, calms the spirit, and stabilizes the emotional volatility that comes with intense heartbreak, crying spells, or depression.
* Xiao Yao San (Free & Easy Wanderer): Often used for heartbreak characterized by “Liver Qi Stagnation”—frustration, irritability, moodiness, and feeling stuck.
Keep an eye on the page and she will share another couple of formulas later this week!
