There’s a lot of uncertainty around the world right now, which can influence locally-even though it’s not on our doorstep.

Grief, loss, worry-these things can influence our health from personal experiences too, like when we lose a loved one or find ourselves in a new space in our life. Relationship issues, or even breakdowns in relationships are also triggers for our emotional stability, and ability to focus and get through day to day life dramas 😞

Dr. Rebecca Brook uses both acupuncture and herbal formulas to support patients. Here are two of the formulas she likes to offer patients.

* Gan Mai Da Zao Tang (Licorice, Wheat & Jujube): Nourishes the Heart, calms the spirit, and stabilizes the emotional volatility that comes with intense heartbreak, crying spells, or depression.
* Xiao Yao San (Free & Easy Wanderer): Often used for heartbreak characterized by “Liver Qi Stagnation”—frustration, irritability, moodiness, and feeling stuck.

Keep an eye on the page and she will share another couple of formulas later this week!

It might be that we photograph your foot, your hand, or your face. We might get some short clips of Bec doing acupuncture, checking your pulse or putting some points in the face for a facial cosmetic acupuncture treatment.

Keen?

We will share some deets on how to register your interest soon!

Dr. Bec is our Acupuncturist and loves to support you when you have blocked qi.

What does that feel like?

Often it comes up as a dull ache.

A softly annoying ache 🤣

It may come up as dizziness, or feeling lightheaded

It may come up as tension in the neck and shoulders.

It may come up in the form of an injury.

It may come up in the form of a skin condition.

There’s so many different ways your qi, and how it is moving through the body, will present itself.

Here, Dr. Bec his showing you a few variations of some of the Chinese liniments we are using in clinic.

There are some they’re really good for a long-term chronic pain. Some that are really good for test stuff like colds and flus, and coughs.
And some that are good for active tissue injuries, or even connective tissue disorders affecting tendons and ligaments.

We do have availability at the moment for new patients, so make an appointment if you’re feeling any of these symptoms for a chat and some treatment 🤗

This doesn’t need to be a scary place.

It doesn’t need to be a place you avoid because you’re not sure what piece of equipment does what!

It’s a place you can come. Be yourself. Be in your now space with your headphones on. Push yourself. Find your limits. And move past them in good time.
