One of the most beautiful ever Christmas presents I’ve ever received was this last year. And what a year it’s been which is why I never got around to sharing it and publicly thanking .gajda.art for the gift. It has helped me hang onto and remember who I am and what I do despite a year of being large disrupted from doing it. Thanks Mel 🙏 for this treasure that makes my heart full and my eyes overflow every time I look at it.

A Christmas gift unpacked and I can finally share this commission I did for and of their beloved Maxy. Absolutely adored creating this work of art and hope to do more of this in the future. Farewell Buzzie 28/11/1996 - 25/4/2022 You chose to leave on a day of heros and will always be remembered as one. Only 2 days ago I saw you pull off your signature “buck half-pike with 180 reverse landing” move and nail it. Larger than life, a wonderful leader of the herd, always filled with passion and excited to be involved. You kept me and your herd safe, and you always made me laugh. For nearly 20 years we were a team and I thank you. Say hi to Gypsy and Bridgette. 🌈💫🙏🦄🤍🪶

Meanwhile at the … I can’t tell you what it means to me to share my home with these incredible, intelligent and magical creatures. Their presence and song is a gentle and soothing reminder that our environment can support life. They make the most amazing meditation companions. Did you know that they are territorial and have regular sleeping places? This little guy is new however and part of the most recent generation of to visit our pond.

Yesterday was a big day so I didn’t get to post this, but we celebrated Sage’s 1st 1 year anniversary. Still remembering the long drive home with aunty Jayne behind the wheel and me using poo bags as sick bags for the epic travel sickness. She’s learned so much this past year and now she’s all grown up and exploring new ways to be naughty. Not that you can tell from this pic.
