This National Diabetes Week (13 – 19 July), Diabetes Victoria is encouraging people to schedule a health check today, for a healthier tomorrow.

For people living with diabetes, regular health checks for eyes, feet, blood pressure and kidneys can reduce the risk of long-term complications. For people at risk of type 2 diabetes, Diabetes Victoria recommends a chat with your doctor.

Many factors affect a person’s risk of developing type 2 diabetes, and not all can be changed, including age, cultural background and family history.

Congratulations to our Senior Nurse Kara & partner Harry on the arrival of another beautiful baby girl. Bridie weighed in at a whopping 4.3kg. Her sister & 2 brothers are besotted by their not so little sis 🥰. Mum & bubs are both doing well.
