🌾 Coeliac Awareness Week
💚 Supporting healthier lives in our rural community

This week we’re recognising Coeliac Awareness Week and shining a light on a condition that affects thousands of Australians — including many in rural and regional communities.

Coeliac disease is an autoimmune condition where the body reacts to gluten, and it can often go undiagnosed for years. Awareness matters, because early testing and simple dietary changes can make a life‑changing difference.

Here at Seyour Health, our team is committed to helping community members understand the signs, seek support, and access the care they need close to home.

If you’re experiencing ongoing digestive symptoms, fatigue, or health changes you can’t explain, chat with your GP. Early diagnosis can make all the difference. 💚

Let’s work together to raise awareness, support each other, and build a healthier community.

Providing compassionate, person-centred care at the end of life can be challenging.

The CareSearch GP Kit offers GPs practical, evidence-based tools to guide care for patients and their families. You can take this information to your GP for further discussion regarding assessing patient and carer needs, managing symptoms, supporting dying patients, addressing bereavement and promoting best professional practices.

Each kit also includes a Patient Carer resource pack that can be shared directly with patients and their families.

Order or download your GP Kit today at https://www.caresearch.com.au/Health-Professionals/General-Practitioner/GP-Kit?utm_source=Otherkitemail&utm_medium=Otherkitdirect&utm_campaign=GPkit_Other

The Prime Minister has announced a National Day of Mourning on Thursday, 22 January 2026, to honour the victims and all those impacted by the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. The theme that the Chabad Community in Bondi has chosen is ‘Light will win, a gathering of unity and remembrance’.

Today we invite you to observe a minute of silence at 7:01pm if you are in the Health Service. If at home, you are invited to leave a candle on your doorstep or window.
