If you donโt have a steam chair. Yoni steaming can be done without a steam chair by using a stainless steel bowl. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Gather your supplies: You'll need a stainless steel bowl, a selection of yoni steaming herbs (such as mugwort, lavender, and rose petals), a large towel, or gown and a comfortable space to sit.
2. Fill the bowl with water: Pour about 4-6 cups of filtered water into the stainless steel bowl. The water should be hot, but not boiling, as you want to create steam.
3. Add the herbs: Place a handful of your chosen yoni steaming herbs into the water. You can use a combination of herbs like mugwort, lavender, and rose petals, or focus on just one herb if you prefer.
4. Let it steep: Allow the herbs to steep in the hot water for around 10-15 minutes. This will give the water time to infuse with the beneficial properties of the herbs.
5. Prepare your sitting area: Find a comfortable spot where you can sit with your bowl of steaming water. Place a large towel on the floor to create a cozy and protective barrier.
6. Create a steam tent with your towel: Carefully position the bowl with the steaming water on the floor between your knees (Kneeling). Make sure it's stable and secure. Then, drape a large towel over your lower body, covering both yourself and the bowl to create a steam tent. Ensure that the towel covers you fully, allowing the steam to be trapped within.
7. Sit and relax: Sit comfortably with your lower body covered by the towel and the steam tent. You can wear a long skirt or robe to keep yourself warm during the process. Take slow, deep breaths, and allow yourself to relax and unwind.
8. Steam for about 15-20 minutes: Allow the steam to work its magic for around 15-20 minutes. Take this time to focus on yourself, practice mindfulness, or meditate. Be sure to maintain a comfortable distance from the steam to avoid any discomfort.
9. Finish with self-care: After you've completed the steaming session, carefully remove the towel and bowl. Take a moment for self-care by resting.
