Cup gliding the lats 🫶🏼
By gliding the cups along the lats (instead of keeping them stationary), we’re encouraging better blood flow and fascial release.
This technique can help:
✨ Loosen up the lats for overhead movement
✨ Improve posture and shoulder range
✨ Support recovery after training, long hours at a desk or in machinery.
This client has a history of muscle tears in his Pecs, Biceps and Triceps which can create long-term compensations through the shoulders, back, and core. As well as grinding through 12 hour work days in heavy machinery.
We worked to:
Release and lengthen tight QLs and his whole back that have been overworking to stabilise posture and restore shoulder and spinal mobility so the body can move more freely and evenly
Consistent bodywork, especially for people who sit or operate machinery for long hours, helps prevent these compensations from turning into chronic pain patterns.
