It’s completely understandable to feel like things have been moving too slowly in getting back into the swing of things.
The process of relocating and setting up in a new space, especially with different grow methods and new grow spaces, and the need to repurchase equipment, has certainly been overwhelming.
Balancing life, children, farm responsibilities, court, and more adds another layer of complexity, and it's natural to feel frustrated by the journey.
However, when I take a moment to reflect, it becomes clearer the progress that has been made, even if it feels slower than I'd like.
In the past 12 months, we’ve accomplished quite a bit, despite the challenges.
I’ve moved, restarted everything from scratch, had my world torn apart, slowly stitched that world back together one patch at a time, found my soulmate and my true friends, I’m finding me-like the true me not the me who was in survival mode, and I’m setting boundaries, learning to say no, and learning to slow down and respect myself more.
I think it’s important to remember to be gentle with ourselves and adjust our expectations. We often set the bar too high (I know I do), and it’s okay to recognise that we are doing our best.
I have found my path toward a more intentional life, focusing on contentment, self-sufficiency, love, family, the pure joy that comes from hard work and dedication, and most importantly me because being a mum- I often forget me.
With that in mind, I’d love to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what I’m working on.
Can you guess what I’m building?
Hilariously wrong answers most certainly welcome 😉 let’s see what u can come u with in the comment section below! 👇
