Here, you will enjoy both private and small group classes that are open to all levels of ability. I am a qualified Yoga Therapist so all my classes are therapeutically informed. Each week, I design a new yoga sequence that incorporates a variety of movements and relaxation techniques, and emphasises mindfulness and breath awareness. My teaching style is gentle, completely non-judgemental, and info

rmed by the latest research in human anatomy and yoga therapy. Fun and functional, for everyday life

When you join me for a yoga class, my aim is to enable you to:

I’ve started a little something new and simple, a mini book swap tucked into my farmers market basket that will be coming along to classes each day 🌿

If you’d like to, you’re welcome to bring a book you’ve loved and leave it in the basket, and perhaps take one home that calls to you. Nothing formal, just a gentle sharing of stories between us.

With classes also expanding, it feels like a lovely moment to open a little more space for connection, not just through movement and breath, but through the things that nourish us beyond the mat too.

For our Autumn term, our gentle theme will be Steady and Strong.

Not strong in a pushing or straining way, but in a way that helps us feel more supported, more stable, and more at ease in our bodies.

We will work gently on strength, balance, and mobility, while continuing to practise rest, breath, and relaxation. As always, yoga philosophy will be woven quietly through our time together, supporting real life, not performance.

I recently wrote something for the website that felt like it captured the spirit of these classes quite well, so I thought I would share it here too.

With many new students joining recently, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my work.

It is wonderful to meet you 😊

With more than 25 years of personal yoga practice and over 15 years of professional training and study, I offer yoga that is steady, accessible, and grounded in therapeutic understanding. My work centres on breath, nervous system regulation, and practical movement that supports real life.

I am a certified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and experienced teacher offering small, supportive community classes in Shelley, WA. I specialise in gentle Hatha Yoga with a therapeutic lens, including pelvic floor well-being, midlife support, and nervous system friendly practice. Classes are designed to build strength, stability, confidence, and ease, at a pace that respects your individual body and lived experience.

I have also had the privilege of working alongside healthcare professionals and researchers, including at Fiona Stanley Hospital, St John of God Murdoch, and The Kids Research Institute. This has strengthened my commitment to evidence-informed, person-centred yoga that is practical and compassionate.

My training includes advanced study in pelvic floor well-being and therapeutic yoga applications, supported by ongoing professional development and current best practice.

At Simple As Pi Yoga Meditation, classes follow thoughtful seasonal themes and clear, structured guidance. You will always be offered accessible options and a welcoming space to learn and explore.
