Skin cancer procedures can often be performed under local anaesthetic in a clinic setting ☀️
This involves:
• Numbing the area
• Removing the lesion or taking a sample for testing
• Sending tissue for histopathology when required
Used for appropriate cases of:
• Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)
• Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
• Lesions requiring biopsy or further assessment
Treatment approach is individualised based on clinical assessment.
If you notice a spot that is new, changing, or not healing, it’s important to have it assessed by a qualified practitioner.
